Utkarsh Kumar is a skilled Software Engineer with over 6 years of relevant experience in building and monitoring JVM-based applications. He has a passion for exploring new technologies and using them to solve everyday problems. Currently, Utkarsh is working as a Software Engineer 3 at PayPal, where he is involved in building credit products that help small business owners and merchants worldwide access credit easily. He has also worked on PayPal Working Capital geo expansion to France and Netherlands. Before joining PayPal, Utkarsh worked as a Software Development Engineer 2 at Ola, where he designed and implemented features of Ola's high-impact product initiatives such as Consumer App Redesign, Internationalization, Ola-Foodpanda, and Add On. He also led the development of 3rd party integration for ride insurance and designed and implemented Driver Tipping that involved Ola's Payments integration. Utkarsh migrated a few payments flow to an Event-Driven Architecture as well. Utkarsh has a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology. He has a strong tech stack that includes Software Engineering, Integration, and Backend.
