Utkarsh Nagar is a 4th year B.Tech student in the Computer Science branch who is passionate about solving complex problems with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, MongoDB, and Java. He is currently working as a Software Engineer Intern at Thoucentric Labs, where he is gaining hands-on experience in Next.js, Java, and Python. With a focus on being a highly valuable asset to the team, Utkarsh believes in rising together and contributing to the success of the organization. Utkarsh is a programmer who loves to solve Data Structures and Algorithmic problems, and he was part of the very first team from his college to reach ICPC (aka Olympics of Coding) Regionals 2021, ranking 608 in it. He has a passion for building products that not only help people with their day-to-day tasks but also touch people's hearts. Recently, he built Focusly to increase productivity during deep work sessions. In addition to his technical skills, Utkarsh is also a dedicated open-source contributor and has contributed to various organizations, including Eclipse Foundation, where he ranked 37 among 101 contributors across the world. As an Open Source Mentor at Google Developer Student Club, he has helped more than 20 students in the university and 40+ people around the globe begin their open-source journey. He has also organized sessions on how to make your first open-source contributions. Utkarsh has relevant experience of 1.11 years and has worked as a Frontend Developer Intern at Picsea, where he created the Front-End of the user experience of Picsea's website using ReactJS from scratch. He pushed production quality code and worked in a fast-paced environment as part of a team building a high-quality platform for event managers to reduce their digital workload by 90% effectively. Utkarsh has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from NIIT University, where he is expected to graduate in 2023. He also attended Ramjas Public School (Day Boarding) from 2006 to 2019.
