Utkarsh Patil is an accomplished Engineering Lead in Robotics at Persistent Systems. With over 6.86 years of relevant experience, he has a proven track record of designing and developing solutions for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs). Utkarsh is well-versed in ROS, Computer Vision, and has experience in developing IoT solutions, Cloud Applications Design and Development using Microservices. He is proficient in AWS, Azure, and IBM Cloud, and has expertise in Front End Development with Angular, React, and Backend Development with NodeJS and Django. At Persistent Systems, Utkarsh is currently handling product development for a customer with healthcare device as a product. He is responsible for Backend and Middleware Application Design and Development with NodeJS, Frontend Application Development using Angular 10, Production deployed NoSQL database ops and redesigns, and Embedded Development using ROS. In his previous roles at Persistent Systems, Utkarsh has worked as a Module Lead, where he was responsible for ROS based autonomous navigation in Mobile Robots, SLAM using SensorFusion Systems, Fleet and Swarm Management for Robots, and Industrial Robotics Automation Architecture Designs. He has also worked as a Senior Full Stack Developer, where he designed and developed computer vision-based autopilot systems for UAVs beyond VLoS, Autopilot Drones using DroneCode platform (PX4 and ArduPilot), and DJI Industrial Drones Automation. Utkarsh holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University. He completed his HSC in Science from Horizon English Medium School & Junior College, Dighi, Pune.
