Utkarsh Raj is a highly motivated and driven individual with a passion for Data Science and Natural Language Processing. As a current Data Science Intern at Scalenut, Utkarsh is currently exploring NLP models such as BERT, GPT3, and Sentence Transformer. With a relevant experience of 0.19 years, Utkarsh is a quick learner and is always looking for opportunities to enhance his skills. Prior to his current role, Utkarsh worked as a Geoffrey Hinton Scholar at Univ.ai, where he covered basic topics of neural networks to advanced topics in NLP. He worked on different algorithms like GRU & LSTM, Word Embeddings, ELMO, Transformer, BERT, etc. Utkarsh also worked on a group project where he proposed a solution using a hybrid Convolutional Neural Network and GRU model for the most fascinating problems of deep learning, speech to text converter. Apart from his academic achievements, Utkarsh has also worked as a Technical Manager at E-Summit, IIT Roorkee, where he developed the website of E-Summit 22 in online mode. He gained valuable experience working with Next.js in frontend and Django in backend. Utkarsh is an Integrated Master of Science graduate from IIT, where he majored in Applied Mathematics. His tech stack includes Data Scientist, NLP, AI, BERT, Neural Networks, ML, Deep Learning, Django, Javascript, Frontend, and Backend. With a keen interest in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing, Utkarsh is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow in his field.
