Utkarsh S is an experienced Data Automation Developer currently seeking full-time opportunities. With 9.04 years of relevant experience, Utkarsh has a strong background in web and data scraping, as well as designing and developing enterprise report applications from scratch. In his current role at Verisys Corporation, Utkarsh has been involved in the development of existing systems for web and data scraping, and has architected and designed enterprise report applications using Ruby on Rails, Bootstrap, custom CSS, JavaScript, and various databases including MongoDB, MySQL, and Postgres. He has also designed and maintained user authentication using Single Sign-On (SSO), prepared test cases using Rspec, and implemented and integrated Elastic Search as a Service. Utkarsh has experience managing projects with agile methodologies in Pivotal Tracker via user stories and customer issues, and has developed Docker images to support Development and Testing Teams and their pipelines. He also has extensive experience with version control, primarily Git, particularly using Gitlab. Prior to his current role, Utkarsh worked as a Web Programmer and Webmaster at Utah State University. In these roles, he interacted with faculty to update information on departmental webpages, created and updated webpages using OU Campus editor, generated and revised web pages, and regulated and managed access rights of different users on websites. He also modified and added new functions to a Dabo desktop application, and achieved to extract desired data from the MySql database and increased query performance. Utkarsh holds a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Utah State University. His technical skill set includes Ruby, Web development, JavaScript, MySQL, Docker, MongoDB, Elastic Search, and Postgres.
