Utkarsh Singh is a software engineer with a passion for developing enterprise data platforms. Currently, he is working as a Software Engineer Intern at PayPal, where he is gaining valuable experience in the field. Utkarsh is a graduate of Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where he completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Finance. Prior to joining PayPal, Utkarsh worked as a Market Risk Analyst Intern at Deutsche Bank, where he analyzed the risk sensitivities for the Global market data using the Risk-Finder and GPC2 software for the production process of Futures and Options Trading for the Fixed Income Instruments. He collaborated and interacted with cross-functional teams globally to assess data quality and validation and reported and scrutinized the data for daily Quality VaR, SVAR, and Worst-case scenarios reports for Treasury business. Utkarsh also investigated the reasons behind products breaching the limits or missing and reported the same to Senior management. He automated the process of reporting and analysis by using Microsoft Excel Macros and Python to increase the efficiency of the process. Utkarsh also worked as a Consultant at 180 Degrees Consulting, where he led a team of four to develop a Go-to-Market Strategy for a Start-up Ironwork Insights EEG Product in the Neuromarketing sector. He gathered the requirements for the client and determined the challenges faced by the competitor products in the Indian scenario. He performed market research, competitor analysis, Porter's five forces, and SWOT analysis to develop the market entry strategy. Utkarsh's technical skills include Software Engineering, Python, and Research Scientist. He has relevant experience of 0.86 years, and he is always eager to learn and grow in his field.
