Utkarsh Tripathi is a seasoned DevOps Engineer with over 5 years of experience in designing and implementing DevOps practices. He has a thorough hands-on experience in version control, continuous integration and continuous deployments (CI/CD), configuration management, container technology, cloud platforms, DevOps tools configuration & administration, and automating regular tasks via scripts/tools. Utkarsh is highly skilled in Linux, Bash Scripting, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), CICD, GIT, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, ELK, Grafana, and other relevant technologies. He is currently working at Gojek as a DevOps Engineer and has previously worked at Airtel and Lybrate in similar roles. At Airtel, Utkarsh was responsible for designing, implementing, and managing DevOps practices within the team and working in collaboration with different teams like development, Operations, QA, etc. He designed a complete branching structure in Bitbucket for the team and implemented the same in the production environment. He also designed and implemented CICD pipeline which includes various Jenkins jobs, scripts(bash, python, Groovy), and different tools like Jira, Bitbucket, Sonarqube, Maven, InfluxDB, Grafana, etc. He automated various L1/L2 tasks using automation and worked in collaboration with the QA team to achieve QA automation by using scripts and tools. At Lybrate, Utkarsh was responsible for managing organization infrastructure over AWS, automating tasks by using bash scripts, provisioning Dev/Stag/Prod environment to developers, working with tools like Jenkins, Docker, Git, New Relic, ELK, etc., and building, shipping, and releasing projects. Utkarsh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies and has completed his Associate’s Degree and High School from Kendriya Vidyalaya. He is proficient in DevOps, AWS, QA, CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, GCP, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Integration, Web, test, Python, infra, New Relic, MySQL, MongoDB, Microservices, Postgres, and other relevant technologies.
