Utlesh Singh is an experienced Software Engineer and Manager currently working at AJIO.com. With a passion for coding and a keen interest in learning and working on new technologies, Utlesh has gained extensive experience in the e-commerce industry. In his current role, he is responsible for working on a highly configurable and scalable e-commerce product that processes millions of requests daily and lakhs of requests concurrently on peak time. He has worked on three microservices and built one microservice from scratch all alone. He has also redesigned existing microservices to scale better with low latency and fail-fast and fail-safe mechanisms using rate limiter, circuit breaker, Redis cache, and Kafka. Utlesh has owned responsibility for two microservices and worked on all their feature enhancement and bug fixes. He is also involved in ad hoc tasks that involve feature requirement gathering, production issues, on-call support, and giving KT to other teams/stakeholders. Prior to his current role, Utlesh worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Dailyhunt (Versé Innovation Pvt Ltd) where he worked on a highly scalable big data architecture that parsed, transformed, enriched, and aggregated around 9-10 billion events and three terabytes of data daily. He used technologies like Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, HBase, Redis, Dgraph, Hive, Grafana, Infuxdb, and CheckMK for monitoring and alerting systems and jobs. Utlesh also worked as a Software Engineer at Qualys where he worked on Qualys Certificate View, a cloud-based product that scans certificates over a network and shows potential vulnerabilities by analyzing certificate encryption algorithm, encryption key length, certificate issuer's chain, and various other parameters in real-time. The product used the latest technologies like ELK stack, Filebeat, Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka, Vault, Redis, Consul, Swagger API, Spring Boot, Grafana, and SLF4J logger. Utlesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the Army Institute of Technology. He is proficient in various technologies such as Java, C, Elastic Search, HDFS, Big Data, AWS, NoSQL, Spring, Amazon Athena, Docker, Cassandra, Spring Boot, Search, Apache Hive, Frontend, Computer Vision, designer, Javascript, MySQL, MongoDB, Integration, and UI.
