Utsav Gupta is an experienced software developer with a strong background in developing high-frequency trading systems. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Utsav's area of interest lies in the development of latency-sensitive trading platforms, operating systems and kernels, and embedded systems. Currently, Utsav works as a Systematic Trading Platform developer at Citadel Securities, where he is responsible for improving the efficiency of the hot water generator plant. He successfully diagnosed three major factors that were reducing efficiency and improved the HWG efficiency from 24.5% to around 85%, ensuring a profit of 1.3 million INR per year. He also automated the HGW efficiency tracking system. Utsav has previously worked at Tower Research Capital LLC and Samsung. At Tower Research, he was on garden leave and designed an entirely new counseling service website with a fluid layout and ease of use. He also developed a new software on database management for smooth and fast conduction of the interview. At Samsung, Utsav was a software engineer working on 4G-LTE & eMTC Protocol Stack (Mac Layer) Development. He designed and developed various features of the MAC protocol stack for LTE & eMTC 3GPP rel.12/13/14. He also automated the time-consuming eNodeB access procedure using the Teraterm scripting and the testing platform for MAC layer using Google-Test framework. Utsav's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a Maths Science degree from Maharshi Vidya Mandir (Senior Secondary).
