Uwais Zaki is a highly skilled software engineer with a passion for open-source software development, web development, and DevOps. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Newton School and has previously worked at Bitclass as well. Uwais has a strong background in metallurgical and materials engineering, having completed his Bachelor of Technology degree from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Uwais is a versatile engineer with expertise in a range of technologies, including React js, Nodejs, Python, Django, Flask, PHP, Docker, and Kubernetes. He has gained extensive experience in his field, having worked on various projects during his time at Bitclass and as Chief of Resource Management and Project Leader at Information Management Group, IIT Roorkee. In his previous roles, Uwais was responsible for leading the Content Management System, which is a multi-user interface for managing, updating and publishing content on the IIT Roorkee official website. He also led the SSG project and was responsible for all the development and bug fixes of the product. Additionally, he organized workshops aimed at teaching freshmen the basics of software development and introduced the open-source culture in the college. Uwais is a lifelong learner who is always looking to expand his skillset. He is a graduate student from IIT Roorkee and has gained relevant experience of 2.28 years in the field. His education history includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and he also attended Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Jaipur.
