Uzir Thapa is an experienced Vue / Node Developer with a strong background in the higher education industry. With over 6 years of relevant experience, Uzir has built multiple web apps for small businesses and full-scale apps for consumer use. He is skilled in Vue.js and has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Coe College. Currently working as an Application Developer Vue JS / Node / .NET at Kirkwood Community College, Uzir collaborates with department heads to gather requirements for various projects. He has built a student portal (MyHub) with VueJS and Vuetify that has impacted 14,000 students. Uzir has also created the Kirkwood application with Dynamics CRM and trained 50 staff to use CMS. Before that, Uzir worked as an International Recruitment Intern at Coe College where he used VBA to create an application for searching through students to find possible fuzzy matches and duplicates. He tracked and recorded personal information of all prospective international students using Excel and communicated with them to give insight about Coe College. Uzir also created SEO optimized posts to help students find Coe College on their college search. Uzir's tech stack includes VueJS, Javascript, Frontend, Web, and Search.
