Vaghani Rushi is an experienced Member of Technical Staff with a strong background in information technology and services. He holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology. Rushi has expertise in Python, C++, and Go lang (basics) and has developed RESTful APIs using Flask and Django. Currently, Rushi is working at Nutanix as SDE, MTS-3, and is actively participating in the complete system test cycle for new features, starting from requirement gathering to creating test plans, manual testing, and automation using Python. He has a great communication skill and is able to build bridges with colleagues, customers, and other teams. Rushi also has expertise in automation and tools development, API automation, and planning and estimating testing in functional testing areas. He has automated test cases using Perl, Python, and NACL libraries in different domains like RAID, WAFL, Storage Efficiency, Encryption, and Data Protection. He has good knowledge of the storage domain and Data storage operation system ONTAP. In the past, Rushi has worked for NetApp as Member Of Technical Staff 3 and Member Of Technical Staff 2. Rushi's key areas of functional testing were Storage Efficiency, WAFL filesystem, RAID, Non-disruptive upgrade of Data ONTAP, and automation using Perl and Python. He had to triage the failures and file bugs appropriately and bring the bugs to closure. Rushi was also the sheriff for Minotaur and Enhanced test suite (Continuous Integration test), owning the test and ensuring the failures are addressed at the earliest.
