Vaibhav Aren is an accomplished Software Engineer with over 3 years of experience in building and scaling engineering teams across various domains. He has a passion for creating diverse teams with complementary strengths, backgrounds, and experiences. Vaibhav's expertise includes product strategy, leadership development, architecture, cross-functional partnerships & execution, and public speaking. Currently, Vaibhav is a Senior Software Engineer at BrightMoney, where he leads the Messaging & Contact Engineering Org. He is responsible for building product experiences and platforms to communicate with hundreds of millions of customers globally, across multiple channels, to drive engagement & growth. Vaibhav is also responsible for creating applications and tools to help customers in the BrightMoney App, on their Help Center, and across their voice & chat contact channels. He is handling multiple projects, including Brightmoney User Service, Notification System, Gateway Service, Firestore Service, Analytics Service, Attribution Engine, Kafka Producer, Kafka Consumer, and Auth Service. Prior to BrightMoney, Vaibhav built the first Visual Testing Platform for Web product at Percy (BrowserStack) from the ground up. He was instrumental in integrating Engineering teams from Percy after its acquisition by Browserstack. Vaibhav has also worked as a Software Engineer at Percy in the VRT team and as a Mentor at The Linux Foundation. Vaibhav has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology. He is proficient in various technologies, including Python, Django, Kafka, Web, Backend, SQL, AWS, Redis, Spring Boot, Javascript, MongoDB, Selenium, RabbitMQ, Docker, ML, Spring, Microservices, Flask, Postgres, Integration, Mobile, UI, and Frontend. Vaibhav has participated in Google Summer of Code for three consecutive years (2018, 2019, and 2020) and is a LFX Mentor. He loves building things and working on hard engineering problems.
