Vaibhav Bhutani is an accomplished AI Product Manager with over 5 years of experience in the field. He is currently working at Zomato, where he is responsible for building a central AI team for Zomato and BlinkIt. Vaibhav's expertise lies in using recent advances in NLP and CV to AI-enable multiple use cases involving search, notifications, app illustrations, product photography, food photography, brand design, SQL tools, note-taking tools, customer delight, and communications. Vaibhav is a Cornell University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Revenue and Distribution Management. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from New York University. He completed his high school education at Delhi Public School, where he studied Sciences. Prior to joining Zomato, Vaibhav worked as a Product Launch & Deployment Ops lead at Zomato, where he managed a team of 20 interns across Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore for a deployment Sprint with the product being successfully adopted by over 100+ restaurants in 3 cities over 3 weeks. He also helped design the wireframing for the early product iterations. Before that, he worked as a Growth Product Manager at BlinkIt, where he was responsible for the consumer app homepage and merchandising. Vaibhav's tech stack includes AI, SQL, NLP, Search, product manager, and Computer Vision. He has partnered with Google, Microsoft, Amazon, OpenAI, Modal Labs, Stability AI, PhotoRoom, Adobe, among many other partners in the ecosystem to build highly scalable and cost-efficient AI features for Zomato and BlinkIt customers. Vaibhav is known for his ability to de-commoditize marketplaces, and he is considered an in-house prompt engineer.
