Vaibhav Chidrewar is a Predictions Software Engineer at Google with over 11 years of relevant experience. He is an engineer who gets things done and enjoys delivering end-to-end magic. Currently, he is working on large data systems, real-time services, and building scalable machine learning algorithms for the conscious home. Prior to his current role, Vaibhav worked at Bloomreach as a Staff Engineer and Member of Technical Staff. At Bloomreach, he was involved in big data analytics for e-commerce and developed Hadoop-based large-scale data processing pipelines for analyzing 100+ million pixel logs using Amazon AWS (specifically S3, EC2, Elastic MapReduce, and Redshift). He also built infrastructure and tools to increase automation and improve the efficiency of the engineering team. Vaibhav holds a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Pune Institute of Computer Technology. He also completed his Higher Secondary Certificate from Garware College. His tech stack includes Software Engineering, Machine Learning, AWS, MapReduce, Big Data, Hadoop, and infrastructure.
