Vaibhav Diwan is a Lead Big-Data Engineer with over 13 years of experience in designing, developing, and testing Java/J2ee and Big data applications. He has extensive hands-on experience in designing and developing distributed parallel processing applications using Apache Spark, Scala, Greenplum, Hazelcast, and Java to process billions of risk sensitivities by transforming, enriching, and aggregating risk data. He also has extensive knowledge of creating and managing standalone Spark clusters on IBM symphony grids and IBM spectrum conductor. Vaibhav has extensive experience in big data Greenplum database to process billions of sensitivities in a distributed environment and persisting data into Greenplum and experience in Greenplum based applications performance improvement by optimizing table distribution, broadcasting, analyzing. He also has extensive hands-on experience in designing and developing distributed in-memory caching solutions using Hazelcast and accessing cache data from Spark distributed processing. He has good knowledge of No-Sql db Apache Cassandra and MongoDB and J2ee development skills using Spring- Spring Boot, Spring data, Spring IOC, Spring AOP, Spring transaction, Hibernate, Rest services. Vaibhav has extensive knowledge of Behavioural Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber framework and Test-Driven Development (TDD) using Junit, Mockito, Power Mockito framework. Vaibhav has hands-on experience in using Liquibase database change management tool to deploy database changes in production and non-production environments. He also has good knowledge of Design Patterns like Singleton, Builder, Decorator, Strategy, Template, and Factory for software development. He has extensive knowledge of writing SQL queries, triggers, views, stored procedures, cursors, triggers. Vaibhav has good experience in Agile, Scrum methodologies as processes for software development and is a highly motivated team player with excellent and proven interpersonal and communication skills. He has played scrum master roles in many projects and coached other team members about the best practices.
