Vaibhav Gawali is a Senior DevOps Engineer with over 9 years of relevant experience in managing services, CI/CD, GitOps, and cloud infrastructure. He is currently working as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at dkatalis, where he is responsible for GitOps using Argocd, Alibaba Cloud to GCP migration, and Terraform for IaC with reusable modules for various resources in GCP. Vaibhav has hands-on experience in managing almost everything on managed k8s (GKE), resource limitation for pods, node selector, taint and toleration, demon-set for monitoring services, Gitlab pipelines, k8s base runners, terraform, helm 3, makefile, Kaniko, and designing CI/CD pipeline with Jenkins+Docker. He has also worked on application deployment integration by using API’s - Jenkins, Git, Jira, confluence, Slack, and Ansible. In addition to GCP, Vaibhav has experience in AWS Cloud, including EC2, EBS, VPC, S3, SNS, CloudWatch, ELB, Rout53, RDS, and Terraform as an Infra as code for all AWS components. He has also worked on Compute engine, k8s engine, SQL, Load balancing, container registry for staging/prod environments, and done POC for "Infra as a Code" by using terraform for GCP. Vaibhav has worked with several companies in the past, including agrostar and valueadd softtech & systems, where he gained experience in Git, Atlassian products like Jira, Hipchat, Confluence, and container orchestration tools such as Rancher, Docker Swarm, Kubernets. He has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Ahmednagar College and has completed his H.S.C and S.S.C from M.M. Ware Junior College and New English School, respectively. Vaibhav's technical skills include SRE, GCP, Terraform, AWS, DevOps, Docker, Jenkins, SQL, infra, Ansible, CI/CD, Integration, Microservices, MySQL, Frontend, test, UI, and Python.
