Vaibhav is a skilled software engineer with a passion for analytics and machine learning. He has over 4 years of experience working primarily as a backend engineer, shipping industry-standard code in Java (Spring) as well as Ruby (Rails). Currently, he is a Senior Cognitive Engineer Consultant at IBM, where he applies his expertise in data science to develop cognitive solutions for clients. Vaibhav is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Business Analytics from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business, which he expects to complete in March 2023. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology. In addition, he completed a Business Essentials program from Harvard Business School Online, where he gained knowledge in Business Analytics, Financial Accounting, and Economics for Managers. Throughout his career, Vaibhav has worked with various companies, including IBM and Branch International, where he worked as a Software Engineer. At Branch International, he was responsible for building, maintaining, and owning payments and KYC products across different markets. As a Senior Cognitive Engineer Consultant Intern (Data Scientist) at IBM, he gained experience in developing cognitive solutions using machine learning algorithms such as Naive Bayes, SVM, and NLP. Vaibhav's tech stack includes Spring, Java, Backend, Ruby, Spring Boot, AWS, Data Scientist, Javascript, ML, Pandas, Research Scientist, SQL, Naive Bayes, SVM, NLP, and Integration. He is a proactive team player who is always eager to learn and apply new technologies to solve complex problems.
