Vaibhav Joneja is a seasoned professional with over 12 years of experience in D2C Strategy & Ops, Category P&L, and Channel Operations. He is currently employed as D2C Strategy and Operations at adidas, where he is responsible for developing and executing direct-to-consumer strategies and managing category P&L. Prior to joining adidas, Vaibhav worked at Trent Ltd as Category Head - Planning & Merchandising, where he led the category merchandising and sales planning for the Indianwear portfolio. In this role, he was responsible for laying out the strategic medium and long term direction for the category, while also making tactical decisions to maximize revenue and margin. His key responsibilities included inventory efficiency, annual operating plan closure, GTM support, assortment creation, and understanding consumption across consumer cohorts. Vaibhav also worked closely with buying, design, marketing, and retail operations teams to ensure the successful execution of the category strategy. Before joining Trent Ltd, Vaibhav worked as a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he worked on various projects related to strategy, operations, and organizational design. His experience at BCG helped him develop a deep understanding of the retail industry and hone his problem-solving skills. Vaibhav holds a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from NSIT. He is a highly motivated and results-driven professional who is passionate about driving business growth through effective strategy and execution.
