Vaibhav Kapoor is a Certified FRM and an Associate at Deutsche Bank. With over 11 years of relevant experience, he has worked with Infosys as a Business Analyst and as a Summer Intern with SBI. At Infosys, he was responsible for Credit Risk for a Leading Commodity Trading UK Company in London. He analyzed existing risk systems to conduct gap analysis on business process and data models, liaised with users across geographies from US, UK, and Singapore for requirements gathering and UAT, and led and managed testing efforts including Integration, System, and User Acceptance Testing. He has also worked as a Business Consultant for a Leading Bank in the US, where he performed As-is assessment of RDP, provided tactical and strategic recommendations to improve the sustainability of RDP, and recommended best practices being followed around data retention and to comply with BCBS239 and CCAR reporting. As a Summer Intern with SBI, Vaibhav worked on analyzing and predicting the future prospect of Ferro Alloy industry under Project Advisory and Structured Finance Department. He performed time-series analysis using SPSS on prices of major ferroalloys, production, and global trade, analyzed the effect of cost structure of ferroalloys on its price, conducted root cause analysis behind variation in prices across different regions, and conducted Industry benchmarking and EXIM dynamics of the industry. Vaibhav holds a PGDM from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, with a specialization in Finance, General, and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur.
