Vaibhav Khanna is a Mechanical Engineering graduate student from Texas A&M University with a rich experience in CAD and FEA software such as Solidworks, ANSYS, ABAQUS Siemens NX, and Fusion 360. He also has one year of experience in New Product Development (NPD) as a project manager in TATA Motors Ltd, the largest automobile manufacturer in India. Vaibhav has enriched his working knowledge of conducting root cause analysis, FMEA, and failure investigations to identify potential failures and their countermeasures. Vaibhav's goal is to join an organization where he can implement his knowledge and skills to design and develop innovative engineering solutions while creating a positive impact on society. He has kept himself very work flexible and mobile in order to achieve this. Currently, Vaibhav is working as a Hardware Thermal/Mechanical Engineer Co-op at Intel. He is responsible for designing and developing thermal solutions for Intel's products. Prior to this, he worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University, where he investigated the design of heat pipes by steady-state and transient finite-volume modeling of systems using MATLAB. Vaibhav's past experience also includes working as a Mechanical Engineer at TATA Motors Ltd, where he was responsible for the development and validation of physical prototypes for all new Tipper (Dumper) Truck Bodies as per TML NPI process. He also evaluated CAD data and drawings for prototype development and production drawings readiness for tippers vendors. Vaibhav has a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering. He completed his Secondary and Senior Secondary education in the Science Stream (Non-Medical) with a 96.6% score from Bal Bharti Public School. Vaibhav's technical skills include Solidworks, CATIA, AutoCAD, Siemens NX, Ansys (Fluent solver, CFX, Static Structural modules), Abaqus, MATLAB, LabView, Python, C/C++, and MS Office. He also has a Diploma in Product Design from CADD Centre and knowledge of Design for Excellence (DFx), 3D CAD Modelling, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, GD&T, Mechanism Design, Gage repeatability and reproducibility (GR&R), and 3D printing.
