Vaibhav Lodha is a Co-Founder of ftcash, one of India's fastest-growing financial technology ventures that aims to empower micro-merchants and small businesses through financial inclusion using digital payments and loans. He has over 15 years of experience in strategy, operations, and marketing. Prior to ftcash, Vaibhav worked as the Director of Global Development at XPRIZE, a pioneer in crowd-sourcing breakthrough innovations for solving grand challenges through large-scale, global incentivized competitions. He expanded XPRIZE's operations to India and identified the right theme within the water sector to design their first XPRIZE. Before that, Vaibhav worked in the Director's Office of Lodha Group, where he appraised strategy, operations, and traditional and digital marketing for the Chairman. He also managed corporate affairs with the Government of India for aviation and environmental approvals for projects worth over $2 billion. Additionally, he authored reports to understand policy gaps and present recommendations on irrigation, electricity, and PPP in Maharashtra. Vaibhav holds an Executive Education degree in Leadership from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor of Technology in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli. He has also won several awards and accolades, including the HRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Prince William and Kate Middleton's recognition at the UK Trade and Investment – Great Tech Initiative. Vaibhav's relevant experience includes working with parts-of-speech and infrastructure in the tech stack.
