Vaibhav Pandey is a highly experienced Product and Growth professional with over 12 years of experience in B2C and B2B marketplaces in India and the US. He has operated in high-growth environments, overseeing 10x growth, 50M app installs, and 30M MAUs. Vaibhav has built product, design, and data teams of up to 17 members and led growth, retention, and monetization efforts. He has also worked with CXOs to build Product Management Excellence by leading people, product, and process. Vaibhav's domain of expertise includes Marketplaces, SaaS, Chat ecosystems, and E-commerce, with a focus on Growth: Acquisition, Activation, Referral, and Viral loops. He is also experienced in Matchmaking, Search, and Recommendation engines, as well as Monetization strategies such as Pricing, Ad Platforms, and Payments. Currently, Vaibhav serves as the Director of Product at Instawork, a Google and Benchmark-backed on-demand talent marketplace that matches hospitality and light industrial businesses with local professionals. In this role, he is working with the CEO and CTO to define and execute product OKRs and to institutionalize product excellence through user research, design thinking, and hypothesis-driven development. He has built a 17-member product, design, and data research team from the ground up to lead growth initiatives for demand and supply. Prior to his role at Instawork, Vaibhav served as the Product Head of QuikrLearner at Quikr, where he built an Education marketplace with 1 lakh+ education service providers and 2M UVs. He defined the pricing strategy and grew the product, ad, and sales revenue by 400% YoY. He also orchestrated ATL/BTL campaigns (print, digital, outdoor) for B2B and B2C segments. Before that, Vaibhav was the Product Lead at Siemens' PLM division, where he designed and developed a product for consolidating customer's data centers and developed new revenue streams (~$2M) for the product by extending it for new uses. Vaibhav holds a Post Graduate Program in Management from ISB, where he studied Strategy and Finance. He also has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Motivational Pathway and attended St. Francis College.
