Vaibhav Shinde is a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer, NLP, and Data Science professional with over 10 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at eBay, where he has been involved in various full-stack projects related to estimating risk and detecting fraud on the eBay marketplace through a rule-based approach. He has designed back-end services in Java, front-end, and information extraction tools to detect phishing. Prior to eBay, Vaibhav worked as a Software Engineer at Bloomberg LP, where he was involved in backend development in C++, LASSO regression to predict features affecting the price of securities using Scala, and underwent training on topics in Machine Learning like Regression, SVM, Kernel Methods, Boosting, Bagging, Bayesian Methods, Neural Networks.
