Vaibhav Singhal is a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a strong interest in tech products, business, and entrepreneurship. With over 10 years of experience, Vaibhav has a wide range of experience working in the B2B2C domain. He understands the business needs and knows how to create and scale products for a successful solution. Currently, Vaibhav is a Senior Engineering Manager at Acko, an InsurTech unicorn in India, where he has been for the last 16 months. As an engineering leader, he wears multiple hats across the board and has full ownership of the product design while keeping in mind business metrics and requirements. Before joining Acko, Vaibhav was an Engineering Manager at Blinkit, where he managed technical projects, mentored a team of 11 members, and actively coded in Grofers's biggest sale event. He incubated initiatives such as ReactNative in the frontend platforms with OTA capability and implemented high-impact architecture that added $1M+ to the company's revenue stream in the last two quarters. Vaibhav also established hiring guidelines to help build a robust culture of trust and ownership, in turn scaling the team members across multiple paradigms. Vaibhav has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Melbourne, where he studied computer science. He has a diverse tech stack that includes Android, product design, Jenkins, New Relic, UI, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, Typescript, Redux, mobile, frontend, test, search, backend, and software engineering. Vaibhav is looking for the next big challenge in his career and is excited to bring his expertise to a new company. He is a Scrum Master and follows the Agile format to ensure his team reaches their individual and collective objectives via long-term goal setting, KT sessions, and regular 1:1s.
