Vaish Kamble is a Senior Controls Engineer at Eaton with over 7 years of relevant experience in Controls Software Engineering. She has previously worked as a Driveline Controls Engineer at Ford, where she developed automotive embedded control software using requirements derived from ISO 26262 functional safety analysis. Her job also involved working on Matlab/Simulink to generate models and auto code gen for features in different driveline technologies and subsystems. Vaish's role expanded to work on transmission features, doing subsystem builds and also doing application experimental builds. She performed experimental application builds in advance to ensure that features and subsystems align and investigated integration issues if any so that reliable good quality software could be delivered on the bookshelf date. Vaish has also worked with other subsystem engineers, application engineers, software planners, and supplier software teams to ensure that features/subsystem get all the required signals and customers get the required functionality. She has experience in troubleshooting vehicle system functional and diagnostic issues, determining/validating corrective actions and preventive measures, and following change control processes to bring issues to resolution. Vaish has performed static testing (using Polyspace tools and SmartBear) and unit testing and worked with software configuration management tools (IBM ClearCase) for version control and parallel development of software. Vaish has a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology. She has worked as a Graduate Office Student Intern at Michigan Technological University, where she processed Graduate applications for the upcoming semester, mentored new interns, monitored email inboxes, and assisted with projects relating to data analysis and creating reports based on student enrollment data. Vaish managed her tasks to keep the work on time, as the applications needed to be processed before deadlines. Vaish's tech stack includes test, integration, and software engineering.
