Vaishali Satpute is a Technology Leader and Engineering Manager with over 17 years of experience in software development. Currently, she is working as a Lead Engineer for Accessibility and Full Stack at eBay, where she is leading and managing the accessibility effort for the Product & Item Experience team. She is also part of the ViewItem team, where she is building various features using a new generation tech stack. Prior to her current role, Vaishali worked as an Engineering Manager and Member of Technical Staff II at StubHub, where she designed and planned the Cart feature for Multi-event transactions, generating $13M GMS/year. She also built the Related events/Add-ons feature, increasing 10% users. Vaishali modernized the C2C sell flow using the latest cloud-native services, increasing 20% of consumer sellers by improving user flow as well as SEO indexing. She designed and built a painted door test to experiment SaleItNow, impacting a 4% increase in user adoption of the feature. During her time at StubHub, Vaishali also worked as a Member of Technical Staff I, where she built and designed the UI automation system using nightwatch.js to improve the developer productivity. She led the UI platform to improve page performance and scalability using a client-side JavaScript Single Page Application framework based on Backbone's MV* library, the Dust render engine and requireJs modularization and lazy loading. She also built and launched the single-page application experience for the buyer journey using grails. Vaishali holds a Post Graduate Diploma of Advanced Computing in Computer Science from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from the Manoharbhai Patel Institute of Engineering and Technology.
