Vaishnavi Kanna Somasundaram is a highly skilled and motivated individual currently pursuing her Master's degree in Web and Data Science at the University of Koblenz-Landau. With 3.45 years of relevant experience, she is actively seeking internship opportunities in software development, data analysis, and backend development domains. Previously, Vaishnavi worked as an Application Developer at IBM, where she developed integration solutions for Westpac Banking Corporation using IBM DataPower XI52, IBM Integration Toolkit v10, and Websphere Message Broker. She is proficient in Python, SQL, Java, ESQL, XSLT, and Spring MVC and has developed APIs, Spring Apache Kafka listeners, and Kafka topics to facilitate efficient interaction between different applications of the bank. Vaishnavi also deployed APIs and Listeners to higher-level testing environments by leveraging the CI/CD Pipeline in Atlassian Bamboo and deployed Enterprise Application Integration services to Websphere Application Server running on z/OS. Currently, Vaishnavi is working as a Research Intern at the University of Koblenz and Landau, where she is conducting research on deploying an IoT framework using Lorawan and 5G network in the world's steepest vineyards in the Cochem Zell region of Rhineland Pfalz. This project involves implementing a Smart Winery Infrastructure that will help winegrowers to improve and monitor their yield. Vaishnavi's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from KCG College of Technology and a Master's degree in Web and Data Science from the University of Koblenz-Landau. Her tech stack includes Research Scientist, Data Scientist, Web, Integration, SQL, Kafka, Spring, Backend, Software Engineer, Bamboo, CI/CD, test, infra, Python, and Java.
