Vaishnavi Reddy is a highly motivated and goal-oriented computer science graduate with a specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning. With a strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, operating systems, networking, SQL, Java, Python, and data structures, she is actively seeking a job in the software engineering/data science field. Currently, Vaishnavi is working as a Research and Project Intern at the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, where she is working on a stratified methodology for image composition and description using recurrent neural networks and transfer learning. She is also working on a thesis on metadata retrieval for PubMed articles and bug reports. Prior to this, Vaishnavi worked as a Research Assistant at Vellore Institute of Technology, where she constructed a robust and compact representation to detect an audio-visual event in a video segment. She also learned joint representations of audio and visual features using an SVM classifier to detect the video event type. Vaishnavi has also worked as a Samsung PRISM Research Developer, where she worked on Demand Side Platforms - an automated system that identifies the bidding behavior of DSPs and throttles the traffic. With her experience in real-time projects, Vaishnavi has developed excellent team management and teamwork skills. She has also learned to be patient and deal with problems rationally. Vaishnavi is a quick learner and performs well in a fast-paced, team-oriented workplace. In addition to her work experience, Vaishnavi is pursuing a Bachelor of Technology degree from VIT, which she will complete in 2023. She also completed her higher secondary school education from FIITJEE and her Class IX and X from St. Peters Central Public School. She also completed her Class VI-VIII from T.I.M.E.
