Vaisshnavi Y is a young and promising engineer with a passion for AI and ML. She is currently working as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, where she has contributed to the full development lifecycle of several projects, including refactoring an integral API and catching and resolving a critical issue with S3 bucket and SNS encryption. Vaisshnavi has also supported on-call duties and managed a high volume of tickets, demonstrating her ability to determine the root cause of high severity issues quickly. Prior to her role at Amazon, Vaisshnavi worked as a Software Engineer at OpenText, where she developed and enhanced automation scripts that reduced the workload of testers by three times. She also identified major bugs that almost stopped the release of a feature and worked with databases like MSSQL, Postgres, Hana, and Oracle, and cloud platforms like GCP. During her time at OpenText, Vaisshnavi also worked as an Engineering Intern. Vaisshnavi is a graduate student at the University at Buffalo SUNY, where she is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering. She has also attended the Lisbon Machine Learning School – LxMLS 2021, where she studied Machine Learning. Vaisshnavi holds a B.Tech degree in Computer Science from BVRIT Hyderabad and completed her secondary education at St. Mary's High School and Narayana Junior College. Vaisshnavi's tech stack includes AI, Software Engineering, ML, Data Science, Integration, and Research Science, among others. She has relevant experience of 2.61 years and enjoys learning new skills. Vaisshnavi is also a GHC 22 data science track reviewer and has a strong interest in AI and ML.
