Before joining the current company, Val worked at Uber as a Principal Technical Recruiter and Senior Technical Recruiter. Val's primary client at Uber was the Technical Program Management team, whose members have amazing business acumen as well as software engineering technical depth. Val also hired Engineering Efficiency Operations Managers, Technical Writers, Trainers, and Tech Learning Program Managers, Mobile, Front-End, Full-Stack, and Back-End Engineers, and FinTech Systems Engineers. Val has over 19 years of relevant experience and holds a degree in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley, and has completed courses in Negotiation, Technical Writing for Project Managers from UC Berkeley Extension.
