Valentine Maillard is a Full Stack Software Developer at RIA in a Box with over 6 years of relevant experience. He is responsible for handling the container inventory based on monthly client demands, replenishing containers to the park, allocating containers based on customer needs and location, and determining national road/rail/barge rates for clients using the FIFO/LIFO method. Prior to his current role, Valentine worked as a Cashier at McDonald's, where he developed excellent customer service skills by handling hundreds of customers daily, accepted payments, gave change and receipts, and resolved customer disputes in a calm and intelligent manner. He also worked as an Au Pair at AuPairCare Live-In Childcare, where he cared for two young boys aged 1 and 4 years old, took them to places in the city, taught them life skills and French language, and kept flexible hours to accommodate family emergencies. Valentine holds an Associate's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Université du Havre and a degree in Computer Software Engineering from Flatiron School. He is skilled in Software Engineering, Ruby, Javascript, SQL, and Redux. When not coding, Valentine enjoys playing basketball, video games, and spending time at the dog park with his dog Shaq.
