Prior to joining Workday, Valerie served as the Group Engineering Manager at Webflow, where she led distributed Product Engineering teams to build the Webflow no-code user experience, from CMS to Ecommerce to Visual Design. Before that, she was the Director of Engineering at Patreon, where she managed the Platform (API & Integrations), Creator Experience, and Mobile teams. She also served as Senior Engineering Manager for the Platform & Infrastructure teams. Valerie's educational background includes a Master's degree in Information Management & Systems from the University of California, Berkeley School of Information, and a Bachelor's degree in Music Theory, Marketing, and Management from the University of Pennsylvania. She also studied Spanish immersion at New York University - Madrid. Valerie's tech stack includes expertise in Senior Software Engineering, Mobile, and Infrastructure.
