Vamsi Krishna Lanka is a highly skilled software engineer with over 3 years of professional experience in embedded software development. He is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Qualcomm Innovation Center Inc. Vamsi holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Arizona State University, where he was a graduate student. Vamsi's technical skills are vast and include proficiency in C++, C, Python, Bash script, Embedded systems programming, Operating Systems internals, and Device Driver Development. He has worked on several projects during his career, including Poly's Media Relay Engine, where he defined, designed, implemented, tested, and supported new features in C++. He has also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Arizona State University, where he worked on the DARPA ERI funded Domain-Specific System-on-Chips project as part of the Ontology and Software Scheduler teams. Vamsi programmed kernels using various C/C++ libraries like Eigen, mbedTLS, Boost, Volk, FFTW, and FEC to generate signatures that are used to tune machine learning models. He also developed accelerators - Viterbi decoder and Matrix multiplication in System C, which are invoked and tested in Xilinx Zynq QEMU Environment using Transaction-level modeling. Vamsi's education includes a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal.
