Vamsi Agasthyaraju is a cloud professional with a passion for building future-ready clouds. With over 20 years of experience in research, development, and management, he has a complete career on server-side products and cloud. Vamsi has domain exposure to IoT, voice assistants, video collaboration, real-time systems, and avionics. He has held senior management and architect roles and has experience in the complete lifecycle of products from requirements to maintenance. Vamsi has recruited, groomed, and managed world-class engineers and holds patents and trade secrets. He is a quick learner and open to challenges. Currently, Vamsi is a Staff Engineering Manager at Samsung, working on IoT Cloud. He is hiring cloud engineers with 4-12 years of experience, preferably on AWS. In the past, he has worked as a Senior Technical Manager at Samsung on Bixby Cloud and as a Founding Engineer, General Manager, India at Vivu Inc (acquired by Polycom) on cloud-delivered video conferencing. Vamsi has a strong educational background with an MS in Computer Science from MAHE and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from JNTU. He also has an M.Sc in Applied Psychology from Annamalai University. His tech stack includes Senior Software Engineer, AWS, Mobile, and Research Scientist.
