Vamsi Eluri is a Mechanical CAE Engineer with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Blekinge Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. He has a total of 6.86 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently, Vamsi works as a CAE Engineer at L&T Technology Services, where he has been working for the past three years. He is responsible for hands-on experience in Shell, Tetra, and Hexa meshing for FE models in HyperMesh, Nastran, and SIMLAB. He also has work experience in Finite Element Analysis (linear and non-linear static analysis) in CAE software like HyperView & ANSYS Workbench. Prior to his current position, Vamsi worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Opti Design Solutions, where he was responsible for modeling and detailing of sheet metal/casting components using CAD tools like Catia V5. He performed design calculations according to Indian Standards and ensured that all work carried out was in compliance with company design and client standards. He also performed Linear Static Analysis using FEA software ANSYS and reported the structural integrity of the model. Vamsi has also had a Summer Internship at Dr. Narla Tata Rao Thermal Power Station (NTPS), also known as Vijayawada Thermal Power Station (VTPS), where he had an exposure to various stages in the design features of the Thermal Plant. He directly had a visual experience with the staff of how the power is generated, in general using Boilers, Turbines, condensers, Feed water pumps, Dust precipitation using chimneys and Generators.
