Vanchha Garg is an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner with over 13 years of experience in the media industry, including broadcast, digital, and print. She is currently working as a Talent Specialist and Business HR for the Digital Content and Product & Tech Section at Times Network, where she is responsible for expat hiring, talent management, culture management, talent acquisition, employee retention, succession planning, manpower planning, manpower budgeting, and employee engagement. Prior to joining Times Network, Vanchha worked at India Today as AGM - HR and at WION as Senior Manager - HR Business Partner. At WION, she played a crucial role in hiring the launch team of the global English News Channel of Zee Media Corporation Limited, including the hiring for various profiles of a newsroom and the International Bureaus. She also managed the talent management of national as well as international employees and handled hiring formalities of expats related to the documents required for FRRO registration/ Visa Extension/ Visa Conversions/ OCI / PIO Cards. Additionally, Vanchha partnered with business managers in developing staffing strategies and succession planning activities, leading the execution of key restructure and redundancy plans for the Channel. Vanchha has a strong educational background, having completed an MBA in HR from the International Institute of Management, Belgium, a B.Sc in Biotechnology from D.A.V College, and 12th from Steeping Stones School. With her extensive experience in HR and talent management, Vanchha is a skilled professional who is able to translate business requirements into effective HR practices delivering people solutions aligned to business objectives. She has a demonstrated track record of dealing with complex or sensitive day-to-day people management issues, including terminations, disciplinary procedures, and on-boarding. Vanchha is also adept at influencing management and leadership around the people agenda and issues such as retention and hiring strategies, advising, guiding, and supporting all staff and managers.
