Vandana Munjal is a talented and experienced UX Designer, UX Researcher, and Full Stack Developer with over 5 years of industry experience. She is currently working as a User Experience Designer at Infor and is seeking a position as a UX/Product Designer. Vandana has a unique perspective on product development, having worked as a full-stack developer before transitioning to a UX role. This background has given her a deep understanding of both the technical and design aspects of product development. She is passionate about solving problems and making products simpler, smarter, and more attractive. In her previous role at GreyB, Vandana was the first hire in the UX role and took on the challenge of establishing a unified design language and preparing the team around UI/UX practices, client interactions, and user retention strategies. She is proud of her accomplishments in implementing a re-usable design system that became the face of GreyB products and conducting design workshop series for developers. Vandana is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Chitkara University. She is also a Graduate Student Ambassador at IUPUI. Vandana's vision is to be an industry design leader who can build teams known for creating aesthetically pleasing, efficient, and easy-to-operate products. She is passionate about simplifying the complexity of a product without losing its useful functionality. Outside of work, Vandana enjoys embroidery, doodling, painting, and exploring new places. She has even dabbled in pottery. She is open to discussing UI/UX trends, life at IUPUI, or tips and hacks for painting or doodling.
