Vandhana is currently the Country Head of Sezzle India, where she has led the team to onboard over 1500 high-quality D2C brands and establish Sezzle as the preferred payment method of young consumers in India. As a serial entrepreneur, Vandhana is passionate about building purpose-driven businesses from the ground up. She has a keen eye for market trends and is always on top of the latest developments in her field. Empowering society through innovative solutions is her personal mission, and she is actively mentoring and advising multiple startups and entrepreneurs. Vandhana's experience includes helping companies evaluate international business opportunities and set up business operations from scratch. She leverages her market intelligence to set up the right business KPIs, budgets, fundraising, and building the team ground up to scale the operations. As a Director of Sezzle, she incorporated the legal entity and managed foreign direct investments adhering to the relevant regulations. Sezzle is a Minneapolis-based public company listed in ASX, and under Vandhana's leadership, it has become the highest shopper-rated buy now pay later solution in the Indian market. Prior to Sezzle, Vandhana co-founded Journee, a cloud-based transit platform for transit service providers. She was responsible for operations and financial planning and worked on fundraising, revenue models, and strategic planning. She also has experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Bosch. Vandhana holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Anna University and has completed Management Programmes for Women Entrepreneurs and an Advanced Bootcamp for potential Women Entrepreneurs from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
