Vandit Karia is a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in Deep Learning and Computer Vision. He is a Python and C++ expert with experience in TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe, and other Machine Learning Libraries. With 7.79 years of relevant experience, Vandit has developed multiple models in Computer Vision and Speech domains. Currently working as a Senior Project Engineer (Machine Learning Engineer) at Wipro, Vandit has designed multiple Deep Learning models that can be trained on any customized dataset on the Image domain. He has also implemented evaluation metrics for classification, object detection, hybrid model, and image segmentation. Vandit has designed the model conversion from PyTorch to Caffe using ONNX and worked on the streaming process, Apache Kafka, for Machine Learning applications. Prior to Wipro, Vandit worked as a Research Engineer at Sirena Technologies, where he designed, implemented, deployed, and maintained ML/AI models in Computer Vision/Spectral using data using Deep Learning and Machine Learning. He also analyzed the ML algorithms that could be used to solve a given problem and ranked them by their success probability. Vandit explored and visualized data to gain an understanding of it, then identified differences in data distribution that could affect performance when deploying the model in the real world. He applied different machine learning algorithms such as PCA, ICA for artifact rejections, and trained the data to find accuracy and correlation. Vandit has a Diploma in Management Course from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Symbiosis Institute of Technology. He also has a Nanodegree in Deep Reinforcement Learning from Udacity.
