Vaneet Mahajan is a seasoned product leader with over 12 years of experience in the field of mobile apps, ecommerce, user personalization, data intelligence systems, and consumer behavior via customer research. He has worked with global product giants such as MakeMyTrip, Microsoft, and Adobe, delivering successful products for both Indian and global consumers. Currently, Vaneet is a Product Manager at Google, where he specializes in understanding user pain points, defining underlying problems, and solving those problems by bootstrapping and scaling solutions for mobile and web products serving several million users. He has a solid background in product management and is proficient in various tech stacks such as Mobile, Web, Research Scientist, and Frontend. In his previous role as Director, Mobile and Web Product for Hotels at MakeMyTrip, Vaneet ideated and drove personalization charter with a dual goal of increasing both conversion and unique hotel sold spread. He also built a dynamic pricing platform focused on improving unit economics at minimal transaction loss, in-house Location store, and bootstrapped hotels data intelligence platform, now a major source of competitive intelligence for all group companies. Additionally, he successfully spearheaded the web product's revamp project, pioneering new front-end design with a focus on resolving customer pain points. Vaneet's educational background includes a Post Graduate Programme in Management with a specialization in Marketing and Strategy from ISB, and a B.Tech in Computer Science from MNNIT.
