Vanshaj Lokwani is a skilled and organized graduate student pursuing his MS in Computer Science at Stony Brook University. With an insatiable curiosity towards new technologies, he is a programming enthusiast who loves to explore new programming languages, coding conventions, and techniques in his spare time. As part of his Master's program, he is exploring the Data Science and Systems sub-domains and is seeking opportunities that can help him grow in his field of study. Vanshaj is familiar with multiple programming languages and proficient in C++ and Python. He has worked as a Software Engineer at Google, where he has gained 7.53 years of relevant experience. Prior to this, he has worked as an SDE Intern at Amazon, where he implemented a text pipeline for the AutoComplete Service, added support for generating and identifying synonymous queries, and developed internal tools to compare Lucene text pipeline with existing text processing engine. He has also worked as an MTS II at Adobe, where he developed end-to-end build automation for Adobe Dreamweaver CC, Adobe Lightroom Classic CC, Adobe Lightroom CC, Adobe Muse CC, Adobe Bridge, Adobe Presenter, and Presenter Video Express. Additionally, he migrated Adobe Lightroom CC licensing code to support Named User Licensing, from serial and device-based licensing, and moved the coding style of the application from imperative to use reactive programming principles. He also wrote customized installation instructions in C++ and JavaScript to handle new requirements of the Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Lightroom. Vanshaj has a diverse TechStack, including software engineering, Python, data science, JavaScript, Jenkins, and Objective-C. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing his Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University. He is looking for opportunities that can help him explore his interests further, allowing him to build upon his existing knowledge and grow in his field of study.
