Vardan Bansal is a highly skilled and experienced Staff Software Engineer with a strong focus on frontend development. Currently working at Harness as the Front-end lead for the Continuous Integration product, Vardan is responsible for the ideation, development, and delivery of UI features for the product. With over 7 years of relevant experience, Vardan has worked on various projects and has a proven track record of delivering high-quality products. Vardan is highly dependable and operates almost independently, collaborating closely with Product and UX teams to ensure that product specs and mocks are finalized before investing engineering effort. Recently, he has been driving the overall Quality function for the team, with a strong focus on setting up automated test pipelines to catch potential issues/regressions in Stage/QA environments itself, ensuring high product quality for end customers. Vardan's skill set includes proficiency in ReactJS, JS, CSS, HTML, and experience working with 3rd party telemetry tools such as Segment. He is also experienced in designing scalable RESTful APIs for wiring up end-to-end client-to-server communication and optimizing non-relational DB queries, such as MongoDB. Vardan is competent in hands-on experience with popular S/W tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (with GCP). Vardan's key focus areas include complete ownership of all things UI for CI product features, creating highly reusable generic React components, and strong focus on code quality with Jest, Cypress, and Selenium automation. He has hands-on experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated UI code build and deployment. Vardan has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, India, where he secured a CGPA of 8.3 on a scale of 10. He has previously worked at Morgan Stanley as a Technology Associate and Senior Technology Associate. Currently, he is working as a Software Development Intern at Greysprings.
