Vardan Kaushik is a Fullstack Software Engineer and Javascript Developer with almost 3 years of relevant experience in developing and evolving software in a fast-paced and agile development environment using the latest software development methods and infrastructure. He has worked on developing multiple projects from scratch to the level of their self-sustainability, in both frontend and backend using React.js, Node.js, and Mysql. Vardan has exposure to technologies like Kafka, ELK, Redis, Grafana, Prometheus, Objection.js, Selenium, Airflow, and Docker. He is currently working as a Software Developer Engineer -1 at udayy where he has created student's and teacher's portals from scratch to the level of their self-sustainability. These portals are used to provide and take live classes, provide performance reports and study material, manage calendars, etc. He has also created a scalable announcement system where admins can send notifications to the users, built using Nodejs, Reactjs, and MySql. Additionally, he has formulated and executed new API methods for engineering functions, actively monitored APIs and improved the response time of APIs, and used Redis to improve the API response time. Furthermore, Vardan has written unit tests for APIs using chai and mocha to improve the quality of code and find issues easily. He has used Apache Airflow for scheduling dependent daily jobs using DAGs, created a frontend repo using ATOMIC design, which increased the reusability of code and development speed of the team, and developed a test flow on selenium to be run before any release to avoid errors in production. He was awarded employee of the month for exceptional performance and taking ownership. Prior to his current role, Vardan has worked as an Android Developer Intern at appyhigh and dna automation where he has developed android applications using Java, Android Studio, Adsense, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from NCU (The Northcap University) and has completed his schooling from Shri S.N. Sidheshwar Sr. Sec. Public School.
