Varkey Varghese is a seasoned professional with over 14 years of experience in product and engineering at early/growth startups as well as enterprises. He has a keen eye for providing iterative customer value and product/market fit. Varkey's skills include product strategy, rapid MVP, and GTM expertise. He has broad stakeholder engagement experience, including sales, professional services, support, pricing & packaging, and marketing. He is adept at end-to-end complex product development with engineering, cross-geo, and broad stakeholder management, including direct alignment to CEO, CPO, and Head of product. Varkey's career highlights include leading the delivery of one of four key e2e feature groups for the brand new Appdynamics Cloud Product, MVP for Bloomreach recommendations product line, delivering a key cross-product commerce accelerator product MVP at Bloomreach, managing flagship SEO product and accounts worth 15 million USD ARR at Bloomreach, managing product, customer relationships, partnership platform strategy at Yakit, and an entrepreneurship stint as a Co-founder CTO/CPO role working with 3rd party development to develop a viable product. He was also a team leader at IBM India Software Labs leading key pilot initiatives that established a new lab in Bangalore. Currently, Varkey is the Director of Product Management at Appdynamics, leading cloud-native capabilities for AppD full-stack observability solution. He is leading charters to deliver cloud-native, K8s, database, infrastructure observability capabilities for the brand new AppD Cloud product and driving early adoption of the product and iterating to PMF. Varkey holds a PGSEM (currently PGPEM) from IIM Bangalore, a BTech in Electronics & Communication from Cochin University, and a High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates from Marthoma Residential School. His tech stack includes product management, infra, research scientist, senior software engineer, ML, and UI.
