Varsha Maragi is an experienced Software Engineer II at Microsoft with a strong background in Azure, Big Data, Machine Learning, and Data Science. In her current role, Varsha is responsible for developing big data pipeline and machine learning modules to help detect anomalous activities and compromise of Azure Storage accounts. She has also implemented the feature extraction module that processes raw logs by leveraging Azure HDInsight. Varsha has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Columbia University in the City of New York, where she also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. During her time at Columbia, she was recognized for her exceptional work with a CA Fellowship and an Outstanding Service Award by Media and Idea Lab. Varsha's coursework included Artificial Intelligence and Dev Tech (using Linux). Prior to joining Microsoft, Varsha worked as a Software Engineer at Microsoft, where she gained valuable experience in developing software for Azure Security Data Science team. Varsha also holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka.
