Varsha Mishra is a Senior Lead Engineer at Qualcomm with over 10 years of relevant experience. She has extensive experience in chip set validation and development, having participated in the study and development of Wi-Fi host driver support for 160/80+80 MHz capabilities for new Qualcomm WIFI chipset. Varsha has also worked on interoperability issues with Qualcomm 160 MHz AP and other non-Qualcomm clients, contributing towards performance improvements and stability of the Beeliner WIFI chip. She has worked on the TR-069 project, which defines an application layer protocol for remote management of end-user devices, and actively participated in Peregrine releases on Akronite, which enabled timely FC/CS releases. Varsha has also worked on convergence of Host interface layer across two platforms (MCL and WIN) that were being developed independently, which will help in bring up of upcoming chip Hawkeye. Currently, Varsha is working on Wi-Fi performance optimization using Linux tool perf. Her aim is to minimize CPU utilization by minimizing cache misses, maximizing data locality, in-lining functions, pre-fetching, thread balancing, using optimized NAPI budget. She has also been working on NSS Wi-Fi offload issues, which offloads host transmit and receive data path to NSS, reducing the CPU load on host and increasing performance. Varsha holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree from MNNIT, where she graduated in 2013. She has worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Engineer at Qualcomm, leading the Video over wireless effort from Bangalore geo and working on numerous features like IGMPv3, MLDv2. She is skilled in Senior Software Engineering, Software Engineering, testing, and integration.
