Varsha Prabhu is a Software Engineer with over 6 years of relevant experience in the industry. Currently working with Google, she has previously worked with Tesco as an Associate Software Development Engineer and Amazon as a Software Engineering Intern. At Tesco, Varsha was responsible for building a platform to ingest, process and serve ratings and reviews for groceries and expanded it to other businesses. She also built a data synchronization system to sync native moderated reviews and syndicated brand reviews from BazaarVoice and allowed manual moderation of digital content. Varsha set up the infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline on AWS and worked on predicting impressions across different combinations and placements of digital content on tesco.com, across user segments, to take decisions in content creation. She also built a functionality to automatically classify reviews using Microsoft LUIS and custom trained machine learning models using Keras (on top of Pytorch) and Scikit-learn. During her internship at Amazon, Varsha worked on caching delivery nodes' configuration details for a team within the transport team. Her tech stack includes Software Engineering, ML, AWS, Keras, Scikit, CI/CD, Pytorch, infra, and Spring. Varsha holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. She also completed Pre University Education from Deeksha Centre for Learning PU College and ICSE from Oxford English School.
