Varshap Walia is a highly motivated and skilled software engineer with a passion for applying computer science to real-world problems. With over 5 years of experience in the industry, Varshap has developed a range of competencies in technologies such as Python, Flask, Django, AngularJS, MySQL, NoSQL, AWS, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, TensorFlow, Keras, Kafka, and Spark. Currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at pinkblue, Varshap has developed and managed a range of solutions, including a Point of Sale system, supplier-user handshake and delivery tracking solution, smart search and fuzzy matching algorithm, recommendation engine, and task automation and notification systems. Varshap is also experienced in SDLC, Agile methodology, code reviews, test automation, and mentoring junior developers. Prior to pinkblue, Varshap worked as a Backend Developer at inclov, where she developed automation tools and admin kits for the operations team, in-app encrypted messaging and notification systems, and optimized recommendation engines using KNN algorithms. She also worked as an Associate Data Scientist at Cognier Insights, where she developed a geo-map web app called Samplepop, a chatbot using Dialogue Flow and Python, and sentiment analytics and reporting for clients on social platforms using machine learning. Varshap holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Kurukshetra University and has also completed high school in Non-med from GMSS 37-B, Chandigarh. In her free time, Varshap enjoys playing guitar, watching movies, listening to music, playing games, and traveling.
