Varshil Anavadia is a dynamic Data and Analytics Engineer at Ernst & Young (EY), where he focuses on building a better working world for clients. With a passion for solving complex problems and providing the best experience to clients, Varshil's approach is progress-focused over perfection. He believes in leveraging both parts of his brain equally (Systems 1 and 2) to achieve balanced creativity and deepen bonds with those he works with. Varshil holds a Masters in Computer Science from The Pennsylvania State University, where he not only excelled in coursework but also led campus-wide efforts as a Global Ambassador to organize cultural events and provide a rich college experience for a diverse group of international students. Prior to graduate school, Varshil held a fixed-term Software Engineering position in research at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where he developed a forecasting system for ubiquitous people sensing in a Smart City. With over four years of relevant experience, Varshil has a solid background in Software Engineering and Research Science. He has worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Penn State University and as a Research Software Engineer at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
